M.I.A.

I had to go to three different music shops to get this (which clearly means everyone's already onto her), but M.I.A.'s "Arular" LP is a bunch of the freshest sounds i've heard in ages. I hate most CD reviews so i won't go into cleverly blending genres to describe her work, go to the site to listen to samples or just buy it:
